Statement of Issue:
A request to open and read publicly submitted bids after 10:00 A.M. as indicated in the CALL
FOR BIDS dated December 12, 2011 for Supply of Liquid Asphalt Products for Bituminous
Surface Treatment.
Analysis/Strategic Goals:
The Board has issued Call for Bids for the above materials. Bid invitations have been duly
advertised in accordance with competitive bidding requirements.
Fiscal Impact:
Purchase of materials for Bituminous Surface Treatment is included in the Department of
Public Works 2012 budget for Road Operations.
Recommendation:
The Board is requested to have said submitted bids opened and read publicly, have the
Public Works Department review and check bids received and provide recommendations to
the Board at a Later date.
