Statement of Issue:
A request to open and read publicly submitted bids after 10:00 A.M. as indicated in the CALL
FOR BIDS dated December 19, 2011 for Pavement Marking on Jefferson County Roadways for
Calendar Years 2012-2013
Analysis/Strategic Goals:
The Board issued Call for Bids for the above services. The bid invitation has been duly
advertised in accordance with competitive bidding requirements.
Fiscal Impact:
Pavement marking services are included in the 2012 Road Operations budget and 2013
expenditure forecast.
Recommendation:
The Board is requested to have said submitted bids opened and read publicly, direct the
Public Works Department to review and check bids received and provide recommendations
to the Board at a later date.
