Roland Resources, Inc. Services for the Port Hadlock Wastewater
Fadlity Project.
Statement of Issue: Department of Public Works requests to supplement the existing
Consultant agreement with Roland Resources, Inc., to extend the timeframe to accommodate
additional acquisition and relocation tasks related to the Port Hadlock Wastewater Fadlity
project.
AnalysislStrategic GoalslPro's 8: Con's: To date, the Department of Public Works has utilized
approximately $12,100.00 of the approved contract amount of $25,000.00. The Supplemental
Agreement will extend the completion date of the existing contract to December 31, 2013 in
order to accommodate the complex land acquisition and relocation tasks for the subject
project.
FiscallmpactlCost Benefit Analysis: The Department will be able to authorize additional
relocation tasks, per task order, as authorized in the existing consultant agreement with all
acquisition and relocation costs programmed into the specific projects as needed.
The County is under no obligation to use the full contracted amount.

Recommendation: The Department of Public Works recommends that the Board authorize the
Agreement and return 2 originals to the Department of Public Works for further processing and
retain 1 original for the Boards records.

Description of Work
Real Property Acquisition & Relocation Services.
The Local Agency of JEFFERSON COUNTY Denmpnent of Public Works desires to
supplement the agreement entered into with Roland Resources. Inc. and executed on Julv 11.
2011.
All provisions in the basic agreement remain in effect except as expressly modified by this
supplement.
The changes to the agreement are described as follows:

TIME FOR BEGINNING AND COMPLETION, is amended to change the number of calendar
days for completion of the work to read: Comnletion Date revised to December 31. 2013.
