WHEREAS, the Official County Road Log is maintained and filed at the Department of Public Works, arid
WHEREAs, each year by May I SI Road Log updates are submitted to the County Road Administration
Board, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to correct the stated terminus of Lopeman Road, County Road Number 528409,
from Milepost 0.22 to Milepost 0.378 in order to match the actua1length of the County-maintained chip
sealed roadway,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to make the following
correction to the Official County Road Log:

Update of Official County Road Log
Lopeman Road, County Road 528409
Statement of Issue: Update of the Official County Road Log, correcting the stated
terminus of Lopeman Road, County Road No. 528409, from Milepost 0.22 to Milepost
0.378 to match the actual length of the County-maintained chip sealed roadway.
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's a: Con's: Each year by May 1st, the County is required
to submit Road Log updates and corrections to the County Road Administration Board
(CRAB). Lopeman Road has been maintained as a chip sealed County Road to Milepost
0.378 for decades. The end of the dedicated road right-of-way terminates at Milepost
0.378; however, the Road Log currently shows the terminus as Milepost 0.22.
Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: CRAB uses the County Road Log to calculate the
State gas tax allocation; however, a minor change such as this one will not have a
noticeable effect on gas tax revenue.
Recommendation: Sign the attached Resolution directing the County Engineer to
update the Road Log to reflect the correct terminus of Lopeman Road.
