Resolution to Apply for WWRP Grant Funding from RCO

Statement of Issue:
The Board is asked to authorize Public Works to apply to the Recreation and
Conservation Office (RCO) for grant funds from the Washington Wildlife and
Recreation Program (WWRP). This grant application will request WWRP funding for
the Rick Tollefson Memorial Trail Project.
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's 8: Con's:
The Rick Tollefson Memorial Trail Project is number seven on the 2012-2017 Six Year
Transportation Improvement Program and is included in the 2011 Annual Construction
Program.
FiscallmpactlCost Benefit AnalysiS:
This WWRP grant from RCO wiUleverage the existing Federal and Local funding
already in place for this project.
Recommendation:
The Board is asked to sign the authorizing resolution and return one copy to Public
Works.
