A Hearing Notice was approved on September 34, 3012 artd was advertised on Septembzr 26, 2012
In 1973 Ordinance No. 3-7 ~ was adopted to implernent the Survey Recording :1ct {Chapter SU. Laws of
19? ~). Resolution No. 18-92 was adopted in 1992 setting new tiling fees to reflect actual costs of recording.
Currently. it is necessary to update the Jefferson Counh~ Code to rcficct the appropriate fee schedule. If
approved, this ordinance would repeal and replace Ordinance No. 2-73 and Resolution i~o. 18-92.

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2-73 was adopted in 197± to implement the Survey
Recordins Act (Chapter 50. Lata•s of 197 ~) and to assist in preserving evidence of land surveys
by establishing fees ibr recording a public record as prescribed by the act: and,

fair and reasonable and will help to cover actual costs of recording, and accordingly rcconvuends
