l he proposed Kesolution would formalize County Commissioner concurrence with the PIF
Boards recommendation. and authorize the County Administrator to develop corresponding
Brant agreement, Ibr Commissioner revicxx and subsequent action. Under the Kesolution the
grant proposals wouict be I00"'o grants. consistent with state last and counq code. xvith
local public agencies for the fisted public infrastructure projects. up to the amounts shown, to
reimburse up to ~04~0 of project costs. provided the ~~rants shall he lined as available Public
Intrasu'ttctare Fund balance allows and as project schedules may tvan-ant in the approxintatc
timel'rames above. and t~°ith such other conditions as may be appropriate
FISCAL IMPACT:
\Jcquste non-obligated funds arc prgiectcd to be available in Fund ?06 in each Fear to pay the
grant amounts on the proposed schc<iulc. I lowevcr. wiles PII revenues come in suhstantialh
higher than prgjccted. there will be little if any additional PIF fund, until mid 301 ~ tier ^c~c grant
awards, or unless a band were issued based an funuc revenues in 2b1> and beyond.

\L'HFR1::1S, RC W 82.14.170 authorizes a sales and use tax to provide funding of public
infrastructure projects; and
WHLI~AS, pursuant to RC\\ 82.14.370, Jefferson Cotnuy has established the Public
Infrastructure Pund and a program for its administration as codified in ,Tel'ferson Count} Code
Chapters 3.Z8.3?9 and 1.36; and
WHLfZL•'AS, on October 30, 2012, the Public Infrastructure Fund Board reviewed
available Ilmds in Fend 306 -Public htfrastruchtre Pu[td as well as projections of firttu~c revenues
to the Fund and reeornmended that the County approve f 00% grant.: to a variety of projects ii~r
expenditure in }ears 20] 2.2013. 2014 and 201 ~; and
\L I IF.RF.AS. the .teflerstro County Board of Commissioners concurs with the Public
Infrastructure Fund Roard's recommendation and wishes to authorize the preparation of grant
agreements for County Commissioner review and action:

2. The Counn~ Administrator, as the Public Infrastructure Fund Administrator, is authorized to
develop li>r Board of Couut} Connnissioncrs review and subsequent action 100% Public
lnfrastrucutre Funtl grant agreements consistent with state law and county coda 'fhe grant
proposals shall be with local public agencies for the following public infrastructure projects
up to the amounts shown below, to reimburse up to ~0°~ of project costs, provided [he grants
shall be timed as available Public Infrastructure Fund balance allows and as pniject schedules
