SPECIAL WORKSHOP
MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 14, 1977
I. OPENING .BUSINESS
Chaifnan Randolph called the meeting to order at 7:50 p.m.
Members present were Karl Randolph, Dorithe Harrington, Finis Stevens, William
Svensson, Norris Short, Harry Pollard and Richard Kenyon.
A quorum was declared by Chairman Randolph.
Representing the Planning Department were Director David Cunningham and Secre-
tary Laura Southmayd.
Planner for the Jefferson -Port Townsend Regional Council, David Goldsmith, was
a guest.
II. UPDATE - COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
David Cunningham reviewed with members Chapter 1 through 6 of the Countywide
Goal and Policies, as stated at the beginning of Chapter 7, noting that addi-
tional and updated data were included in this new draft.
Members commented on the presentation of data and the text, making a few changes.
It was noted that next members would be reviewing the goal and policies for
utilities, transportation, signs and outdoor advertising, etc.
III. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 10:40. p.m.
IV. NEXT MEETING
The next meeting is scheduled for October 5, 1977.
