Members present: Finis Stevens, Karl Randolph, Chet Dalgleish, Fred Lester,, Harry Pollard, Ed Wainwright, Eva Taylor. Planning Department Staff: David Cunningham, Tom Aumock Guests: Jack 14aher, Area Manager for Pope and Talbot; Chuck ffacLearnsberry, Engineer for Pope and Talbot; Scott Bigsby, Consultant for Pope and Talbot. II. Old Business A. Fort Ludlolff Sough Bpv Community Environmental._impact Statement: Scott Bigbie, Consultant for the developer, presented the Environmental Impact State- ment by discussing the content, section by section. On the section of Drainage, Chuck MacLearnsberry explained in detail the drainage background of the project and the drainage recovery system. Chairman Short asked about road signing plans and coordination of such plans with the Fire District. Jack =Daher ellucidated on this subject. David Cunningham agreed to coordinate this plan. Chet Dalgleish moved to change the use of. "should" to "could" on pages 40 and 41. 1146tion was seconded and carried by unanimous vote. )Planning Director Dave Cunningham noted that letters in response to the E.I.S. have been received and are attached with the official file of the E.I.S. Chairman Short noted that he saw no significance in the documentation of "emission factors for Highway vehicles" on page 27 in that it does not directly relate to the project. Chet Dalgleish asked if the existing four wells will serve the entire com- munity. Jack Daher responded in the negative, adding that new wells will be established for each new portion of the development. Chuck XACLparnsberry f added that the State Division of Health is monitoring the project regarding water supply. �. NtacLearnsberry also noted that they have had professional consultation stating that the water supplies will not be contaminated, thus, Pope and Talbot has a program for quality control, and for adequate quantity of water as the project is developed. In regard to the statement on page 38 "rho new off -site road work", David Cunningham offered to get traffic counts to consider normal traffic, heavy traffic, requirements of left turn lanes or signals. III. Next 3eeting The next meeting will be Wednesday, February 5, 1975 at 7:30 p.m. in the Courthouse IV.
