Proposed Plat In Cape George.

1. Chm. Norris Short discussed some of the problems b6im_,encountered by the
proposed plat in Cape,ftorge Colbay by J.F. ftlmer. fha primary 'problems
related to the Restrictions and Covenants of'the existing comamity in
relation to road access and water availability to the Proposed new Plat
within the Colony.
2. Ohm. Short brought the Commission's attention to two legal notices taken
from the Port Townsend Leader] one -establishing a county roadq and'another
vacating a county road right of way. The principal issue in the discussion
here was theA-Planning Comission's role,, as well as the -Shoreline Management

4. Budget Reductions in the Planning. Com ission*s 1974 Audget were addressed
to the Canhission. ese reductions were a- result of -a County tax issue

5. The Commission reviewed ##e first draft of the ftrestry District Category
Under "Conditi6nally Permitted Uses" the addftift
of a TIM :lam to iludo "Pipes, .transmission lines, and associated
equipment and structss for the local distribution of utilities." And;
a sixth line of Conditional Use Criteria.
Under Section Lot sWidth, the includion. of kabiwition U;' "Criteria"
was also made.
Under Section V. Building Heighth Requirements, the deletion of heighth
restrictions s dd.
Karl Randolph moved that the Cowdssion accept the Forestry District (g)
as the draft,. as corrected, for such a district. The motion was seconded
by Pinid Oteven.s, and passed unanimously by the Commission members.
6. The =mbers agreed to take home the Unclassified District (U) for study
and'review for the next meeting of the Commission.
7, The .next meeting of the Planning Commission till. be January 16, 1974
at 700 PM in the County Courthouse, Jury Roam, tad Floor.
8. A motion to adjourn the meting was made, seconded, and passed unanimoously.
