7:40 p.m. - Meeting called to order by Chairman Norris Short
Members present were Chet Dalgleish, Karl Randolph, Fred Lester, Harry Pollard,
Finis Stevens, Ed Wainwright, Fred Houghton. Also present was Planning Director
Dave Cunningham
Minutes. of May 15, 1974 were approved as mailed
Discussion centered around water supply and sewage dispo,sal.�requirements.
Under section 5.0.305 Water Supply,, the lot phrase was changed to read "a.Commun-
ity water System" on a motion by;,Karl Randolph as seconded by Fred Lester voting
in the motion.
Lester - Yes Wainwright - Yea
Pollard - Yes Randolph - Yes
Dalgle - Yes Stevens - No
On Section 5.0.308, Electric and Telephone, a motion by Karl Rando pfi seconded
by Ed.Wainw.right to accept Section 5,0:308 as is was tabled until discussion of
the section with Paget Power.
{B)- ..--Members discussed with Randy Durant the need for specified minimum lot sizes.
After lengthly discussion, members concluded that rather then specified.milpimum lot
sizes in the subdivision ordinance, that reference should simply be made to State
and Local Health gegulations.
(C) - - Regarding Fire Protection, members agreed that subdivisions should provide.a
fire protection capability satisfactory to local fire di.'
rict$ within which the
subdivision is loc4.ted.
(D) Precise revio:rs to the work draft of the subdivision ordinance will.be
reflected in the `:ecd' draft of the proposed regulations.
(E) - Before adjourn#mg; a brief discussion was conducted regarding some alterna-
tives for roam requirements in short plats.
