Agenda item - Contract Agreement with ,dumping Meuse Children's Center; January ~, 2113 -December 3i, ~Ot3, ~~4,l~OQ STATEMENT 4F I55LJE: Jefferson County Public Mlealth, as the Band manager of the 1,11t1 of 1°Io sales tax treatment funds, is requesting Board approval of the Contract Agreement with Jumping Mouse Children's Center; January 1, 283 e Cecember 31, ~f113; 24,OC1D ANALY'SISIST~R,ATEGIC Gt]ALS,~IPRU'S and CQN'S: This is a one year contract with JCPfi and Jumping Mouse Children's Center to provide services negotiated by the B©CC Advisory Committee. This contract funds Jumping Mouse Children's Center, serving ~'-2g Jefferson County at-risk youth (2 - 12 years of age} and therer families. This Contractor will provide expressive mental health therapy to children and intensive education and support for their parents.. Mental Flealth treatment is a priority identified by the camrnittee who chose to allocate the majority of these funds to adults with mental health and substance abuse problems. Through this contract services will be increased for Jefferson County citizens who have no other source of payment far services. FISCAL. IMPACTICQST BENEFIT ANALYSIS: This is sales tax revenue raised by the County in the 1,118 of t~Ib Fund and is allocated by the 6QCC with advise from the Mental Health Substance Abuse Sales Tax Advisory Cvrnrnittee. The contract states if the sales tax revenue decreases the vendor will be contacted and the contract n"say be renegotiated. This insurance coverage shall contain no limitations on the scope of the protection provided and. indicate on the certificate of insurance the following coverage. 1, Broad Form Property 13arnage with no employee exclusion; Z. Personal Injury Liability, including extended bo-lily injury; 3.
