fhc City of Porl Townsend and North~cest Maritnne Center have asked pemussum to display the
Jefferson County logo as endorsing a Iher entitled "Growing Port 1'ownscnd~s Maritime
Economy." Staff reconunends the County Commissioners pass a motion authorizing displaying
the County logo on the flyer in support of this effort.
.4NALY'SIS:
Maritime Trades is an industry cluster that. when its member businesses are taken as a group. is a
major employer and driver of Jefferson Counq''s economy. The City oi' Port Townsend and
Northwest ~taritimc Center, working with F.nC Team .tefferson..lefferson County Chamber of
Comtnerec_ Pot•t Townsend iv~larine Trades :association. Yort of Pon Townsend and Port
Ib~ansend School District to produce a tlcer tita[ highlights our community's opportunity to
Brow uur maritime economy.
All of these or,anizations hate endorsed this effort and allowed use of their loos. They have
reached out for County government to join them as an endorser and ro display the County logo
on the flyer too. ~Q=~~ ,.
