The program is authorized through the Model Toxics Control Act (Chapter 70.105D RCW). A total of $54,207 in grant funds was provided from the State with a local match of $18,069 provided through the approved 2012 Solid Waste budget. Additional CPG funds have become available and the Department of Ecology has offered Jefferson County an additional $131,563 by way of an amendment to the current Agreement. Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's $ Con's: Additional revenue from the proposed amendment would offset costs already incurred by Public Works.
