When can we get more support for this area? LAW ENFORCEMENT • Is there any plan to have law enforcement representation IN Brinnon? PERMITS AND REGULATIONS • What has the County done with the thousands of dollars collected on the Pleasant Harbor Marina and Golf Resort? The golf resort has no income on that land. We need our shaze! • Permit process is still way too slow. It is a joke. • Septic inspection is another waste of resources. • Why are the fees for services increasing at the rate they are? And why are there more regulations being instituted that don't seem to have a basis for these regulations? • As new members of the community trying to restore a home that was in foreclosure, we have been overwhelmed by the Public Health Department s requirements for septic tank inspection. Page 1 Commissioners Special Meeting Minutes: May 9, 2013 ~~. Our most troubling problem is the lack of records kept by the County for the system we are on. Why do we have to be penalized (we've been here shy of 2 years) for what is in the past? (These septic designers are very expensive!) BRINNON MOTEL • What is the County going to do about removing the asbestos from the motel and renovating the building so it can become an active motel again? (Community Center at Brinnon) • We need a new roof on this Community Center. ROADS AND TRANSPORTATION • Why aren't we cutting back on Public Works employees and equipment (new) and taking bids on the projects? • What are the chances of opening the Dosewallips River Road to the National Park? • How does Brinnon seek economic support for Public Works projects? • Why spend big dollars chip sealing Duckabush Road? Waste. • Need to remove hazard trees along first half of Duckabush Road. ENVIRONMENT • The pollution in Chimacum Creek - Ecoli -comes from the ducks, etc. this will happen in quite a few creeks. MISCELLANEOUS • What is the status of sewer system in Brinnon are to hook up to?
