Statement of Issue: Award of Contract to Petersen Brothers of Sumner Washington
for their bid of $473,573.71 for the above referenced project.
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's 8 Con's: Public Works has completed checking the bid
for the above referenced project, and recommends award of the contract to Petersen
Brothers for their bid amount of $473,573.71.
Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: The bid amount is $473,573.71. This will be
funded at 100% by the Federal Highway Administration.
Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board authorize the Award of
Contract to Petersen Brothers and return the original to Public Works for further
processing.

Chambers.
• The Public Works Department has completed checking the bid and has investigated the qualifications
of the lowest bidder.
• The bid tabulation is attached for reference.
The Public Works Department recommends that the construction contract be awarded to the lowest responsive
