RE: Modification to MRC grant agreement #GI200420
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
This modification extends an existing agreement the Jefferson County Extension has with the
State Department of Ecology. This amendment extends the grant's end date to August 31,
2013, and increases available project funds by the amount of $3495.00.
ANALYSIS:
This modification will provide funds and a time extension to complete the grant deliverables.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$3495.00 will be added to the current agreement - no cost is incurred by the County
RECOMMENDATION:
We recommend that the Commissioners approve this modifi~ .`ion to the agreement

Northwest Straits Project: Marine Resources Committee
Administration and Operations
PURPOSE: In accordance with the original agreement, this grant is hereby amended to
extend the end date and increase the budget to cover operations through August
31.2013.
IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED THAT THE GRANT AGREEMENT IS AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:
1. This amendment is effective on June 1, 2013.
2. The period of performance is extended to August 31, 2013.
3. .The scope of work is unchanged except for the addition of a progress report on all tasks
due on August 31, 2013.
4. The~~q~l project cost is increased by $3,495 from $93,000 to $96,495 as follows:
