MINUTES
Special Meeting
June 28, 2013
Chairman John Austin called the meeting to order at the appointed time in the presence of
Commissioner David Sullivan and Commissioner Phil Johnson.
DISCUSSIONAND POSSIBLE ACTION re: Contract Revisions Pursuant to State
Budget Crisis: The Washington State Legislature has not yet enacted a State operating budget to
appropriate funds to State agencies for the upcoming biennium. As such, the State Department of
Ecology (DOE) would prefer to suspend rather than terminate the following agreements in order to
facilitate resumption of the agreement upon enactment of State funds. In order to affect a suspension in
lieu of termination, the Board is reviewing the agreements entitled "Suspension of Performance and
Resumption of Performance" The amendments will allow the agreements to survive a disruption of State
funds.
Commissioner Sullivan made a motion to approve agreement numbers G1400003, G1200127 and
GI 100189. Commissioner Johnson seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:47 p.m.
