Donna Frostholm, Associate PlannRr DATE: November 25, 2013 SUBJECT: Update BoCC on &arms of Stormwater Retrofit grant prior to December Hood Canal Coordinating Council Board Meeting STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Jefferson County Department of Community Development (DIED) has been participating in a Hasid Canal Csiord'mating Council (HCCC) stsirmwater retrofit giant since May 2012. Mason County, Kim* County, and several state agencies and tribal entities have also been participating as a wodegoup with HCCC and the project nsoltea Henem. This work is being completed through a Washington Stale Experiment ofiscology, groat that HCCC received for the purpose of Woofing polennal stotmwamer much save within the three -County Hood Canal action area. End products of this point include preparation ofpreAesign reports for some selected sites within coca of me three member counties and preparetion of low impact development retrofit plan report. This project is relatively small and the hours DCD contributes to the grant have a negligible impact on DIED revenues.
