Analysis/Strategic Goals: The Board issued a Call for Bids for the above materials on November 12, 2013. Bid invitations have been duly advertised in accordance with competitive bidding requirements. Fiscal Impact: Purchase of aggregate for Bituminous Surface Treatment is included in the Department of Public Works 2014 and 2015 budgets for Road Operations. Recommendation: The Board is requested to have said submitted bids opened and read publicly, and have the Public Works Department review and check the received bids, and then provide recommendations to the Board at a later date.
