Analysis /Strategic Goals /Pro's & Con's: This project is a pavement preservation project and includes Hot Mix Asphalt overlay of Center Rd between mile post 4.39 and 6.86. It also includes permanent sign upgrades, installation traffic lane markings, installation of recessed pavement markers and installation of guide posts. Fiscal Impact /Cost Benefit Analysis: The Engineer's Estimate is $764,269.00. Construction will be funded at 86.5% by the Federal Highway Administration and at 13.5% by the Public Infrastructure Fund. Recommendation: The Board is requested to witness the public bid opening and direct Public Works to review the bids and make a recommendation for award at a later date.
