ANALYSIS:
Commissioner David Sullivan requested a letter of appreciation be placed on the Consent Agenda for
approval for Quilcene citizen Don Ward's 36 years of service as a Jefferson County Cemetery District #2
Commissioner.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Letter of Appreciation for 36 Years of Service as a Jefferson County Cemetery District #2

Dear Mr. Ward,
We wish to offer our heartfelt thanks to you for your valuable years of service as a
Commissioner on the Jefferson County Cemetery District 42 Board as well as your
numerous contributions to the Quilcene community. We know that you will be
nominated for a certificate of appreciation by the Quilcene Museum, but we wish to add
our gratitude as well. Your 36 years of service as a Commissioner on the Jefferson
County Cemetery District #2 is important both to the citizens of Quilcene and the
community at large.
As County Commissioners, we clearly understand that our boards, committees, and
councils play a vital role in our community. We also recognize that the success of such
groups is dependent on the efforts of members such as yourself who give their time to
serve their community.
On behalf of all the citizens of Jefferson County we thank you for your 36 years of
