Statement of Issue: Bid opening at 10:00 a.m. or shortly thereafter for the Snow
Creek Road Culvert Replacement, Snow Creek Road MP 3.78, County Project No.
CR1899, FHWA Agreement No. DTFH70-1 1 -E-00039.
Analysis /Strategic Goals /Pro's it Con's: This Bid Opening is for construction of the
new culvert at Snow Creek Road MP 3.78, which will be a fish - passable, 24 -ft. span,
precast, reinforced concrete 3 -sided structure. This will replace the existing,
deteriorated, dual metal culverts which form a fish - passage barrier.
Fiscal Impact /Cost Benefit Analysis: The Engineer's Estimate is $398,867. This will
be funded at 100% by the Federal Highway Administration.
Recommendation: The Board is requested to open the bids and direct Public Works
to review the bids and make a recommendation for award.
