Statement of Issue: Execution of Funds Transfer Agreement for the Upper Hoh
Road /Olympic National Park MP 0.0 - 12.0 Project.
Analysis /Strategic Goals /Pro's it Con's: The Federal Lands Access Program Match
Agreement executed between Jefferson County and Western Federal Lands Highway
Division includes an annual funding plan identifying the County's contribution. The
contribution amounts for 2013 and 2014 are $10,000 and $75,000, respectively. These
funds will be put towards the preliminary engineering phase for the above mentioned
project.
Fiscal Impact /Cost Benefit Analysis: The total County contribution amount due at
this time is $85,000. The preliminary engineering phase of this project is funded at
86.5% by the Federal Highway Administration. The remaining 13.5 %, represents the
County's match.
Recommendation: Public Works recommends the Board executes the Funds Transfer
Agreement for the amount of $85,000.
