Vacation of a Portion x
Of Old Hadlock Road x
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Hearing Examiner held a public hearing on the road vacation
petition submitted by Jefferson County with respect to the vacation set forth in "Intent to Vacate", Jefferson
County Resolution No. 83-92; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County.Hearing Examiner considered testimony of the public, comments
from applicable departments, agencies and offices, and recommendation from the Jefferson County Public
Works Department and Jefferson County Planning Department at the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Hearing Examiner determined at the public hearing that the public
will benefit from the vacation of portions of the roads and such vacation complies.with the Jefferson County
Comprehensive Plan and other applicable plans, policies or ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners considered said Hearing Examiner's
1 report of the public hearing and his recommendation for the vacation request and hereby adopts the Findings
of the Jefferson County Hearing Examiner dated October 28, 1992; and
WHEREAS, it appearing to the Board of County Commissioners that notice of hearing has been
posted and published for the time and in the manner provided by law, proof of such posting and publication
being now on file herein, and said Board having the other evidence adduced and being fully advised in the
premises, does now find and determine that the public will be benefited by the vacation thereof;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,I and it is HEREBY ORDERED: that the portion of Old
Hadlock Road, County Road No.527109, being 30 feet in width and 575 feet in length lying southerly of the
southerly limits of the right of way of Lopeman Road, County Road No. 528409, BE, AND THE SAME IS
HEREBY VACATED AND ABANDONED pursuant to RCW 36.87.140.
