U-factors and SHGC are maximums. When insulation is installed in a cavity which is less than the label or design thickness of the insulation, the compressed R-value of the insulation from Appendix Table A101.4 shall not be less than the R-value specified in the table. b The fenestration U-factor column excludes skylights. The SHGC column applies to all glazed fenestration. Exception: Skylights may be excluded from glazed fenestration SHGC requirements in Climate Zones 1 through 3 where the SHGC for such skylights does not exceed 0.30. `"10/15/21.+TB" means R-10 continuous insulation on the exterior of the wall, or R-15 on the continuous insulation on the interior of the wall, or R-21 cavity insulation plus a thermal break between the slab and the basement wall at the interior of the basement wall. "10/15/21.+TB" shall be permitted to be met with R-13 cavity insulation on the interior of the basement wall plus R-5 continuous insulation on the interior or exterior of the wall. "10/13" means R-10 continuous insulation on the interior or exterior of the home or R- 13 cavity insulation at the interior of the basement wall. "TB" means thermal break between floor slab and basement wall. a R-10 continuous insulation is required under heated slab on grade floors. See R402.2.9.1. e There are no SHGC requirements in the Marine Zone. Basement wall insulation is not required in warm-humid locations as defined by Figure R301.1 and Table R301.1. g Reserved. h First value is cavity insulation, second is continuous insulation or insulated siding,so "13.+5" means R-13 cavity insulation plus R-5 continuous insulation or insulated siding. If structural sheathing covers 40 percent or less of the exterior, continuous insulation R-value shall be permitted to be reduced by no more than R-3 in the locations where structural sheathing is used to maintain a consistent total sheathing thickness. The second R-value applies when more than half the insulation is on the interior of the mass wall. i For single rafter-or joist-vaulted ceilings, the insulation may be reduced to R-38. k Int. (intermediate framing) denotes standard framing 16 inches on center with headers insulated with a minimum of R-10 insulation. Log and solid timber walls with a minimum average thickness of 3.5 inches are exempt from this insulation requirement. Future development beyond that specified in this permit shall require further review. 7. BMPs: The project shall adhere to the Best Management Practices (BMPs) to control stormwater, erosion and sediment during construction. BMPs shall address permanent measures to stabilize soil exposed during construction, and in the design and operation of stormwater and drainage control systems. 8. Development pursuant to this permit shall be undertaken subject to the applicable policies and performance standards of the Jefferson County Shoreline Management Master Program and the Jefferson County Unified Development Code. If during excavation or development of the site an area of potential archaeological significance is uncovered, all activity in the immediate area shall be halted, and the Administrator shall be notified at once. The Federal Endangered Species Act rules to protect threatened Chinook and Summer-run Chum salmon became effective on January 8, 2001. Bull trout have been listed as threatened since early 2000. Under the ESA, any person may bring lawsuit against any individual or agency that "takes" listed species (defined as causing harm, harassing, or damaging habitat for the listed species). In addition, the National Marine 2013-03-075FR_StdConditions 3/7/2013 1 Fisheries Service can levy l•s. Portions of Jefferson County, ••g marine waters, are included as "critical habitat"for a listed species. Development of property along any marine shoreline, freshwater shoreline, or floodplains could harm habitat if protective measures are not taken. To minimize the potential to damage habitat, all property owners developing adjacent to marine shoreline, freshwater shoreline, or floodplains are advised to do the following: All development activities should avoid unstable slopes, wetlands, and forested areas near surface waters Remove minimal vegetation for site development, especially large trees Allow trees that have fallen into surface waters to remain there Infiltrate stormwater from buildings and driveways onsite through drywells rather than discharging directly into surface waters or roadside ditches The Federal Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act requires landowners within 660 feet (1/8th of a mile) of an eagle nest to consult with the US Fish and Wildlife Service. This Eagle Act prohibits anyone from "taking" bald eagles. This federal law defines the term "take" and describes the possible legal consequences when a "take" occurs. Among other actions, "take" includes a disturbance of bald eagles or their habitat. Under federal law a permit may still be required for activities that impact bald eagles or their habitat. Contact the US Fish and Wildlife Service (http://www.fws.gov/pacific/eagle/) to learn more about how this law affects your project. Any individual, group, or agency can bring suit for a listed species "taking", even if you are in compliance with Jefferson County development codes. The risk of a lawsuit against you can be reduced by consulting with a professional fisheries habitat biologist, and following the recommendations for site development provided by the biologist. For more information, contact the National Marine Fisheries Service in Seattle, or the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. 2013-09-06_SFR_StdConditions 9/6/2013 2 •0 •• /-,/1 -,ii .----fp,oaf Down:4:13U Ht-ii:De / ' - / Catch B 0.5 in 0-.•card Drain) - ,r- •-,. .,.)--'----Z .-.— .ii3W —,-----1.., \—Boil 0 DRY WELL 48 itth Dia tretPr • Hole Filled with PLAN VIEW 14.42-.3'Washed Drain Rock NT$ 0 7—R cot Dokmacat oi ._.t.,4ark Center of Hole 1 with ts'Capped PVC Wag r Oietflow I or Char MOM I /--- I Fitzhwith Sixface ti Srlash Block Topsdl— \ i 1 — g1A--412 11111 Pi&F.111Pied C H‘ tI t%kiI k 1 ra 11 1 7"‘:-t....'s.•e e t -I i in•n ,--- ific*WIN0 Itat,ii2VroZti blpir-tav, coq.,r,zwitt, Fine Mesh Screen---- \---t'llift‘r de. All infiltration systems must be at least 50 feet from the top of any slope over 40%.
