FABRICATED STEEL All fabricated steel components are het -dip galvanized after the manufactured fabrication. No field welding is required. DECKING & FRAMING X All deck framing is pressure treated (see Q General Specifications). Coat exposed cut y 1 edges. Railings and finish wood is cedar or suitable weather resistant materials.. Deck framing hangers must be suitable for pressure treated wood and outside exposure (stainless or hot dip galvanized steel). GEOTECHNICAL SPECS. Note the site - specific geotechnical report for details on anchoring, erosion control, and soil related issues. CONCRETE (See General Specifications.) Accumar and the engineer of record must approve rebar and details before pouring concrete. Provide digital photographs. The contractor must provide Accumar with the 13atch Certification Sheet from the concrete provider. Check to see if a test cylinder is required. RAILINGS Railings at outer deck end are 42" with open spaces <1.5" per Residential Inclined Elevator Code. Other deck railings per 1130 or applicable local building code.
