CONTRACT AMENDMENT #1
WHEREAS, Jefferson County, a political subdivision of the State of Washington, hereinafter "the County" and
Sabelhaus West, Inc. (hereinafter "the Contractor ") entered into a Contract (hereinafter "the Contract ") on
August 18, 2014 to have the Contractor paint, pursuant to the Contract, the exterior of the Port Townsend
Community Center; and
WHEREAS, the County would like to have the Contractor provide its painting services in the interior of the
Port Townsend Community Center, specifically with respect to certain new windows recently installed there;
and
WHEREAS, the County (Central Services) prepared a "Change Order" to reflect the additional work the
Contractor would perform and the additional compensation the Contractor would receive for said work, but the
Prosecuting Attorney's Office would prefer that this consideration to be exchanged (as reflected in the Change
Order) be memorialized with this Contract Amendment since additional public funds will be used to pay for the
additional work, so
NOW, THEREFORE, the County and Contractor agree to amend the Contract as follows:
1. The Contractor will perform and complete the work listed on the attached Change Order no later than
October 10, 2014
2. The Contractor will be paid the sum of $ 2,120.54, said sum intended to include any applicable
Washington State Sales Tax that shall be collected with respect to this additional work.
AND IT IS FURTHER AGREED BY THE PARTIES:
