· Signed up 180 community members in the One‐less Bag Challenge
· Promoted the MRW Facility at The Rose, City of Port Townsend Newsletter
· Conducted three waste reduction and recycling presentations in the schools

· We lost our part‐time SW Educator in June
Upcoming
· JCPH will be hiring a Solid Waste Education and Outreach Specialist (closing date is Jan 24)
· Continue promoting the MRW Facility with ads at The Rose, and potentially transit buses
· KPTZ Public Service Announcement on recycling reminders (no tubs or clam shells, no porcelain,
etc)
· Jefferson County Recycling Information into the Olympic Peninsula “Red Book.” Distributed draft
to Richard Talbot, Matt Hall, and Kent Kovalenko for review and comment.
· Design and develop ads for newspapers
· Education and Outreach events at the Recycle Center (Spring/Summer)
