STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
Advisory Board Appointment; Jefferson County Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board; Three (3) Year
Term Expires October 6, 2017; Patrick Kane
ANALYSIS:
A letter requesting appointment was received from Patrick Kane. The membership on this board requires a
minimum of seven (7) members and a maximum of fifteen (15), currently there are seven (7) board
members.
DD Co- Chairman, Carl Hanson has interviewed Mr. Kane and recommends him for appointment. Mr. Kane
is the Director of Learning Support Services at Port Townsend School District.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve appointment of Patrick Kane to the Jefferson County Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board.
