SWAC Solid Waste Staff Report
Tonnage/Revenue
Solid waste tonnage for 2014 through August is down 167 tons (1.3%) compared to the same period
in 2013; solid waste total customer transactions are down 4.6%.
Recycling held steady at 4,050 tons/yr for the 12-months through July but is up 12% for the first 7
months of 2014 compared to 2013 due to different shipping schedules. The low tonnage for August
is due to greater than normal stockpiling of material.
