Subject: Contract Supplement #1: Port Hadlock Wastewater Facility Collection
System Local Improvement District Support Services
Statement of Issue:
The Department of Public Works requests Board approval of the attached Supplement #1 for the
Collection System Local Improvement District (LID) Support Services contract with Tetra Tech, Inc.
for the Port Hadlock Wastewater System. Supplement #1 extends the completion date by one
year until December 31, 2015.
Analysis /Strategic Goals /Pro's it Con's:
The contracted work will provide outreach, finance planning, and cost estimating services for the
process of forming an LID to finance the Port Hadlock Wastewater Facility Collection System.
Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis:
Supplement is for time only.
Recommendation:
The Department of Public Works recommends that the Board execute Supplement #1 for Port
Hadlock Wastewater Facility Final Design Services, Reclamation Plant and Influent Pipeline and
return two originals to the Department for further processing.

The Local Agency of Jefferson County desires to supplement the agreement entered
into with Tetra Tech, Inc. and executed on March 11, 2013
and identified with Project Title: Collection System Local Improvement District Support Services — Port
Hadlock Wastewater Facility.
All provisions in the basic agreement remain in effect except as expressly modified by this supplement.
The changes to the agreement are described as follows:
Section 11, SCOPE OF WORK, is hereby changed to read:

Section IV, TIME FOR BEGINNING AND COMPLETION, is changed to read:
December 31. 2015.

Section V, PAYMENT, shall be amended as follows:
