RE: 2015 Commissioners Boards and Commissions Assignments
STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Review and discuss which County Commissioner(s) or the County
Administrator will serve on various Advisory Boards, Committees, Groups and Commissions for
2015. A draft of possible assignments is attached for discussion.
ANALYSIS: There are approximately 60 boards, committees, groups and commissions that
require county representation. Annually these are reviewed and reassigned to Commissioners
and /or the County Administrator on the basis of interest, expertise, and balancing workloads.
FISCAL IMPACT: Minor, reflecting associated travel costs for some assignments, which are
already anticipated in the adopted 2015 Budget.
RECOMMENDATION: Review and discuss the draft table of County Commissioner(s) and /or
County Administrator assignments to serve on various boards, committees, groups and
commissions for 2015, and pass a motion making assignments with or without changes, and
directing staff to reflect the assignments in a final document,
