Pipe run(s) equipped with long-sweep clean-out(s). 4-inch PVC from septic tank to pump tank, sloped as needed. Control Panel: Aquaworx IPC-SM Simplex Control Panel, 120 VAC, powered with two 20 Amp circuits(allowing one circuit for pump, one circuit for panel&alarm); installed outside and within sight of pump chamber. Pump Assembly: Orenco BioTube Pump Vault model PVU571819 equipped with stabilizing/lifting bracket, sump inlet screen, pump inlet filter cartridge, and pump slot. Sewage Pump: Orenco High Head Pump model PF 300511; 0.5 Hp rated for 30 gpm @60 ft of water column head, with discharge pipeline equipped with check valve, flow control valve, flexible hose connection, vacuum-breaker and unions. Electrical supply cord shall have ample slack to allow pump removal without disconnecting wires Pressure Transducer: Aquaworx Liquid Level Transducer installed on PVC pipe bracket extending to pump tank bottom to maintain fixed height. Signal cable shall have ample slack to allow easy removal of transducer without disconnecting wires. Pressurized Transport Pipeline 1.5-inch schedule 40 PVC from pump tank to drainfield distribution manifold,40 to 50 ft. Most of this pipeline shall be installed at elevation below drainfield laterals,to minimize drain-out during rest periods. Drainfield Distribution Manifold Single 2-inch schedule 40 PVC manifold feeds four drainfield laterals. Manifold installed at elevation below ALL laterals remains flooded during rest periods. Long-sweep elbows on each end of manifold, accessible in utility vaults with lids installed to-grade, allow maintenance access(power flushing). Drain Field Four 3' wide by 50' long gravel trenches installed horizontally and parallel to elevation contours, spaced on ?6 ft centers, with infiltrative surfaces 12" below grade. Each trench equipped with 1" diameter schedule 40 PVC distribution lateral, with long- sweep elbows at each distal end, with hand-tightened threaded caps, allowing maintenance flushing, accessed within diameter cylindrical cylindrical utility vaults(or equivalent)extending 2-4"above grade, capped, secured and marked. Orifice Configuration: 16 orifices per lateral, 1/8-inch diameter, on 37"centers, starting and ending 22"from trench ends. Pipe shall be fully de-burred around orifices after drilling. Orifices shall be pointed up to minimize drain-out during rest periods. PVC orifice shields shall be positioned above each orifice to spread orifice discharge and prevent erosion. Four spare 1" PVC threaded end caps shall be provided, and shall each be drilled with an additional 1/8"orifice for testing residual head during start- up and maintenance. Approximately 0.4-0.5 gpm per orifice (26-32 gpm total) at 5 to 8 ft of water column residual pressure, respectively. Designed by Everett A. Sorensen, P.E.
