Analysis /Strategic Goals /Pro's Et Con's: Public Works has completed checking the bids, as well as investigating the qualifications of the lowest bidder for the above reference project, and recommends award of the contract to C Et J Excavating, Inc. for their bid amount of $190,112.91. Fiscal Impact /Cost Benefit Analysis: Construction of this project is funded at 100% by a WSDOT Safe Routes to School grant. Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board authorize Award of Contract to C Et J Excavating, Inc. and return the original of the enclosed memo to Public Works for further processing.
