SUBJECT: Request to Reappoint Phil Andrus to the Conservation Futures Citizen
Oversight Committee
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
Staff requests that the County Commissioners reappoint Phil Andrus to the Conservation Futures
Committee to serve another 4 -year term as a Citizen — District #2 representative.
ANALYSIS /STRATEGIC GOALS/PRO'S and CON'S:
A District #2 vacancy on the CF Committee was advertised in the The Leader on January 26, 2015. Mr.
Andrus expressed interest by the February 13 deadline. He resides in Chimacum and was the only applicant
for this seat during that application period.
Mr. Andrus has very capably served the Committee since 2007. Staff is pleased he is seeking another term
and has heard no objections to his potential reappointment from any of the other members.
FISCAL IMPACT /COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
There is no fiscal impact to the county's General Fund for appointing Mr. Andrus to serve on the CF
Committee.
RECOMMENDATION:
Reappoint Phil Andrus to the Conservation Futures Citizen Oversight Committee to continue as a citizen
representative of District 2.
