Statement of Issue:
Bid opening at 10:30 a.m. or shortly thereafter for the Paradise Bay
Road, Phase II Project, Paradise Bay Road, M.P. 0.37 to M.P. 1.53,
County Project No. CR1873.
Analysis /Strategic Goals /Pro's £t Cons:
A Call for Bids was issued by the Jefferson County Board of County
Commissioners on February 23, 2015. This bid opening is for the
improvement of Paradise Bay Road.
Fiscal Impact /Cost Benefit Analysis:
The Engineer's Estimate is $1,109,469.96. This work will be funded at
90% by the Rural Arterial Program through the Washington State County
Road Administration Board and 10% through Jefferson County Road
Funds.
Recommendation: The Board is requested to witness the public bid opening and direct
Public Works to review the bids and make a recommendation for award
at a later date.
