Statement of Issue: Award of Contract to Rognlin's, Inc. of Aberdeen, Washington for
their bid of $515,000.00 for the above referenced project.
Analysis /Strategic Goals /Pro's 8 Con's: Public Works has completed checking the
bids for the above referenced project, and recommends award of the contract to
Rognlin's, Inc. for their bid amount of $515,000.00.
Fiscal Impact /Cost Benefit Analysis: The Bid amount is $515,000.00. This will be
funded at 100% by the Federal Highway Administration.
Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board authorize the Award of
Contract to Rognlin's, Inc., and return the original to Public Works for further
processing.

• Due notice of the Call for Bids was given as required by law.
• Sealed bids were received and opened in public on March 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the
Commissioner's Chambers.
• The Public Works Department has completed checking the bids and has investigated the
qualifications of the lowest bidder.
• Bid tabs are attached for reference.
The Public Works Department recommends that the construction contract be awarded to the lowest responsive
bidder:
