Chairman William S. Marlow called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m. in the presence of Vice Chairman
Dave Garing and Member Richard A. Broders.
PETITION WITHDRAWALS
Vice Chairman Gating moved to accept the following petition withdrawals. Member Broders seconded
the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.

The Board carefully reviewed the information presented by both parties. Only the land value is being
disputed. The appellant did not provide any comparable sales, however she submitted a spread sheet
showing the percentage of increase in taxes. The Assessor's Representative explained the land value
methodology relative to this property.
Vice Chairman Gating moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of 5278,420 ($172,960 for land and
$105,460 for the improvements). Member Broders seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous

The Board considered the information submitted by both parties. They concur with the Assessor that land
values will vary with different condominium units depending on external factors that affect market value
such as location, view, etc. The Board finds that the assessed value, based on information and sales data
presented, represents fair market value as of January 1, 2007.
Vice Chairman Garing moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of $360,600 ($105,000 for land and
$255,600 for the improvements). Member Broders seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous

The Board carefully considered the information presented by the appellants and the Assessor's
representative. The appellants presented five (5) comparable sales which sold from November 2006 to
June 2009. The Assessor's office presented eleven (11) comparable sales that included all sales in the
area post January 1, 2008. Based on the information presented the Board finds that the Assessor's value
represents fair market value.
Member Broders moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of $401,540 ($160,000 for land and $241,540
for the improvements). Vice Chairman Gazing seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.

The Board carefully considered the information presented by the appellants and the Assessor's
representative. The appellants did not provide any comparable sales. The Assessor's office presented
eleven (11) comparable sales that included all sales in the area. Based on the information presented the
Board finds that the Assessor's value represents fair market value for this parcel.
Member Broders moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of $120,000 (land only). Vice Chairman
