Project No. 1609 -02 Statement of Issue: Authorization of Change Order #2 for the Paradise Bay Road, Phase II Project, CR1873 with Lakeside Industries, Inc. in the amount of $108,802.24. Analysis /Stratestic Goals /Pros ft Cons: This change order is necessary to pay for a required increase in asphalt paving depth from 0.21' to 0.27'. The increase in depth from the original contract is necessary due the existing thin asphalt depth which was revealed after planing of the existing asphalt and to ensure a smooth driving surface. Fiscal Impact /Cost Benefit Analysis: This project is funded at 90% by the County Road Administration Board and 10% by the County Road Fund. Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board authorize Change Order No. 2 and return two signed originals to Public Works for further processing.
