Hi Sally, It appears the driveway is existing based on the neighbor's address of#3157 which uses this driveway for access. Therefore, no RAP would be required. I don't mind reviewing these if you have questions about the access, whether it is new and needs a permit, or is existing. As far as the road naming goes,that is something your department would have to decide. I believe the Ordinance states the driveway would need to be named if it is over 1000 feet in length. On another note, I got a visit from Larry Westergaard who has applied for an address and road approach permit and he was confused by the New Address Application form because it states the new driveway must be flagged with striped yellow flagging tape received from DCD but he got the form on line and had to go into the office to get the flagging ???? Also, when he tried to call our office about the road approach permit using the number on the bottom of the form, he got a private residence. The number needs to be corrected.
