This funding has been budgeted from the Hotel Motel (Lodging Tax Advisory Committee) Fund. FISCAL IMPACT: Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce: $1,886 Jefferson County Historical Society $2,996 Jefferson County Historical Society — Gateway Visitor Center: $3,500 North Hood Canal Chamber of Commerce: $1,000 Quilcene Historical Museum: $4,520 Tourism Coordinating Council: $18,200. REVIE Y: Philip Morley, mistrator Date: CONTRACT AMENDMENT # 1 AGREEMENT By and Between JEFFERSON COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE And JEFFERSON COUNTY For Hotel -Motel Funding 2015 This Amendment #1 is by and between JEFFERSON COUNTY (hereinafter known as "COUNTY" and the JEFFERSON COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (hereinafter known as "JCCC"). WHEREAS, the COUNTY and the JCCC entered into an Agreement on March 9, 2015 for Hotel -Motel Funding in 2015; and WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the terms of that Agreement; and WHEREAS, on June 30, 2015 the Jefferson County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) was advised that additional Lodging Tax revenue was projected to be available for appropriation in 2015 without reducing historic fund balances; and WHEREAS, the LTAC reviewed and recommended $1,886 in additional funding be awarded to the JCCC to support greater delivery of services under the Agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED BETWEEN BOTH PARTIES AS NAMED HEREIN that the Agreement executed on March 9, 2015 is hereby amended as follows: 1. An additional amount of $1,886 will be paid in a lump sum to the JCCC upon execution of this Amendment for the performance of the services as follows: Outdoor Movi ' Night in Port Ludlow promotional materials in the amount of $1,886. 2. The total 2015 Hotel -Motel amount will not exceed $16,886. 3. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement executed on March 9, 2015 will remain the same. WHEREAS, the COUNTY and the HISTORICAL SOCIETY entered into an Agreementon February 23, 2015 for Hotel -Motel Funding in 2015; and WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the terms of that Agreement; and WHEREAS, on June 30, 2015 the Jefferson County Lodging Tae Advisory Committee (LTAC) was advised that additional Lodging Tax revenue was projected to be available for appropriation in 2015 without reducing historic fund balances; and WHEREAS, the LTAC reviewed and recommended $2,996 in additional funding be awarded to the HISTORICAL SOCIETY to support greater delivery of services under the Agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED BETWEEN BOTH PARTIES AS NAMED HEREIN that the Agreement executed on February 23, 2015 is hereby amended as follows: I. An additional amount of $2,996 will be paid in a lump sum to the HISTORICAL SOCIETY upon execution of this Amendment for the performance of the services for the design and printing of 25,000 promotional rack cards for distribution system wide on the Washington State Ferries; Design and printing in the amount of $1,230 and Distribution by Certified Folder in the amount of $1,766. 2. The total 2015 Hotel -Motel amount will not exceed $58,660. 3. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement executed on February 23, 2015 will remain the same. WHEREAS, the COUNTY and the HISTORICAL SOCIETY entered into an Agreement on February 23, 2015 for Hotel -Motel Funding in 2015; and WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the terns of that Agreement; and WHEREAS, on June 30, 2015 the Jefferson County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) was advised that additional Lodging Tax revenue was projected to be available for appropriation in 2015 without reducing historic fund balances; and WHEREAS, the LTAC reviewed and recommended $3,500 in additional funding be awarded to the HISTORICAL SOCIETY to support greater delivery of services under the Agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED BETWEEN BOTH PARTIES AS NAMED HEREIN that the Agreement executed on February 23, 2015 is hereby amended as follows: 1. An additional amount of $3,500 will be paid in a lump sum to the HISTORICAL SOCIETY upon execution of this Amendment for the performance of the services to: increase the Gateway Activity Map distribution program through certified folder display on Washington State Ferries in the amount of $2,600; Increase the Gateway Visitor Center budget for management of facebook and visitor center webpages in the amount of $700; and Increase in the bulk mailing program in the amount of $200. 2. The total 2015 Hotel -Motel amount will not exceed $62,000. 3. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement executed on February 23, 2015 will remain the same. WHEREAS, the COUNTY and the NHCCC entered into an Agreement on March 2, 2015 for Hotel -Motel Funding in 2015; and WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the terms of that Agreement; and WHEREAS, on June 30, 2015 the Jefferson County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) was advised that additional Lodging Tax revenue was projected to be available for appropriation in 2015 without reducing historic fund balances; and WHEREAS, the LTAC reviewed and recommended $1,000 in additional funding be awarded to the NHCCC to support greater delivery of services under the Agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED BETWEEN BOTH PARTIES AS NAMED HEREIN that the Agreement executed on March 2, 2015 is hereby amended as follows: 1. An additional amount of $1,000 will be paid in a lump sum to the NHCCC upon execution of this Amendment for the performance of the services as follows: additional staff at the Brinnon Visitor Center in the amount of $1,000. 2. The total 2015 Hotel -Motel amount will not exceed $57,164. 3. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement executed on March 2, 2015 will remain the same. WHEREAS, the COUNTY and the MUSEUM entered into an Agreement on March 9, 2015 for Hotel -Motel Funding in 2015; and WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the terms of that Agreement; and WHEREAS, on June 30, 2015 the Jefferson County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) was advised that additional Lodging Tax revenue was projected to be available for appropriation in 2015 without reducing historic fund balances; and WHEREAS, the LTAC reviewed and recommended $4,520 in additional funding be awarded to the MUSEUM to support greater delivery of services under the Agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED BETWEEN BOTH PARTIES AS NAMED HEREIN that the Agreement executed on March 9, 2015 is hereby amended as follows: 1. An additional amount of $4,520 will be paid in a lump sum to the MUSEUM upon execution of this Amendment for the performance of the services as follows: increase print ads and outreach to surrounding areas that would encourage overnight stays for online promotions in the amount of $2,000 and print promotions in the Kitsap Sun newspaper in the amount of $2,520. 2. The total 2015 Hotel -Motel amount will not exceed $13,020. 3. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement executed on March 9, 2015 will remain the same. WHEREAS, the COUNTY and the TCC entered into an Agreement on February 23, 2015 for Hotel -Motel Funding in 2015; and WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the terms of that Agreement; and WHEREAS, on June 30, 2015 the Jefferson County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) was advised that additional Lodging Tax revenue was projected to be available for appropriation in 2015 without reducing historic fund balances; and WHEREAS, the LTAC reviewed and recommended $18,200 in additional funding be awarded to the TCC to support greater delivery of services under the Agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED BETWEEN BOTH PARTIES AS NAMED HEREIN that the Agreement executed on February 23, 2015 is hereby amended as follows: 1. An additional amount of $18,200 will be paid in a lump sum to the TCC upon execution of this Amendment for the performance of the services as follows: additional $6,000 for contract marketing coordinator's support; additional marketing campaign initiatives for certified folder for advertising on Washington State Ferries in the amount of $900, Portland Monthly /SAGA City media's digital in the amount of $6,600, and digital marketing in the amount of $3,100; and tourism infrastructure for creative design work in the amount of $400 and waterfall trail brochure reprint in the amount of $1,200. 2. The total 2015 Hotel -Motel amount will not exceed $109,625. 3. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement executed on February 23, 2015 will remain the same.
