HomeMy WebLinkAbout2015 Supplemental Hotel Motel Grant Funding; Jefferson County Histoical Society - 081715JONTRACT AMENDMENT 91 AGREEMENT By and Between JEFFERSON COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY And JEFFERSON COUNTY For Hotel -Motel Funding 2015 This Amendment 41 is by and between JEFFERSON COUNTY (hereinafter known as "COUNTY" and the JEFFERSON COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY (hereinafter known as "HISTORICAL SOCIETY "). WHEREAS, the COUNTY and the HISTORICAL SOCIETY entered into an Agreement on February 23, 2015 for Hotel -Motel Funding in 2015; and WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the terms of that Agreement; and WHEREAS, on June 30, 2015 the Jefferson County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) was advised that additional Lodging Tax revenue was projected to be available for appropriation in 2015 without reducing historic fund balances; and WHEREAS, the LTAC reviewed and recommended $2,996 in additional funding be awarded to the HISTORICAL SOCIETY to support greater delivery of services under the Agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED BETWEEN BOTH PARTIES AS NAMED HEREIN that the Agreement executed on February 23, 2015 is hereby amended as follows: 1. An additional amount of $2,996 will be paid in a lump sum to the HISTORICAL SOCIETY upon execution of this Amendment for the performance of the services for the design and printing of 25,000 promotional rack cards for distribution system wide on the Washington State Ferries; Design and printing in the amount of $1,230 and Distribution by Certified Folder in the amount of $1,766. 2. The total 2015 Hotel -Motel amount will not exceed $58,660. 3. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement executed on February 23, 2015 will remain the same. This funding has been budgeted from the Hotel Motel (Lodging Tax Advisory Committee) Fund.
