HomeMy WebLinkAboutTeamsters Local 589 (Union), Amendment re: Memorandum of Understanding - 090815VeCu C� Memorandum of Understanding Jefferson County (Employer) and Teamsters Local 589 (Union) A) The Parties are signatory to a labor agreement applicable to employees in the Employer's Central Services Department. B) The agreement provides for Washington Teamsters Medical benefits as administered by Northwest Administrators. C) The administrator has requested the Parties specify the hours needed to be eligible for coverage. D) Historically the Parties understood the eligibility to be upon achieving 80 hours of compensation in a month. NOW, THEREFORE IT IS UNDERSTOOD: 1. Article 15.1 shall be amended by adding as follows: 15.1.1 Employee eligibility for participation and for Employer payments shall be a minimum of eighty (80) hours of compensation during the month preceding the month of contribution payment by the Employer. 2. RECOMMENDATION: Approve and sign the Memorandum of Understanding amending the Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Central Services Department.
