We have the following comments regarding the information provided: 1. Stormwater Calculation Worksheet: The project is New Development, not Redevelopment, since the existing amount of impervious surface is 0. The Figure 1 flow chart must be followed to determine the minimum requirements that should be applied to the project. According to Figure 1 (see attached), this project should be required to comply with Minimum Requirements#1 through#5 since the project will result in the installation of more than 2,000 square feet of new impervious hard surfaces. 2. Site Plan: a. Minimum Requirement#2 requires Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention(SWPP) measures. Minimum Requirement#5 requires On-Site Stormwater Management BMPs meeting the Low Impact Development BMPs included in List#1 (Ecology 2012 Manual, Volume I, page 2-30). The site plan indicates that stormwater collected in the footing drains, and presumably the roof drains, will discharge to a perforated stub-out connection(BMP T5.10B). Since this BMP relies in part on infiltration,the space proposed for the infiltration area should be protected from compaction during construction.
