The daily flow is: (120 gal/day/bedroom)x (2 bedrooms min.) = 240 gal/day. The soil in the treatment zone/vertical separation is Type IV. A loading rate of 0.6/gal/day/sqft is permissible. There is enough room and sufficient soil to move the reserve and the primary area if needed. She (and I) prefer the original area proposed for the primary area near test pits #1 &#2 if we can make it work. Once the utility locate is complete for that area, her contractor will dig a curtain drain above test pits#1 &#2. They are moving as fast as they possibly can to get it done. Per your request, a new test pit above the curtain drain will be dug as well. We had her East property line surveyed due to the necessary curtain drain directly adjacent to the P/L. As a result we have a little more room near test pits#1 &#2 (yay!), but test pits#3 &#4 are no longer valid due to location (there is no reason to dig a curtain drain above those pits given the surveyed p/I). Please give me a call if you have any questions. I have attached an updated soils log and an updated test pit location sketch. The pits are numbered and flagged in the field. Thanks—Ron Ronald A.
