PURPOSE: To amend the above -referenced agreement (AGREEMENT) between the State of Washington Deparment
of Ecology (ECOLOGY) and Jefferson County WSU Extension (RECIPIENT) for the Jefferson County Marine
Resources Committee (PROJECT).
The purpose of this amendment is to redistribute funds from Task 2 (Eelgrass No -Anchor Zones) to Task 1
(Administration). A total of $8,000 is requested to be moved from Task 2 to Task 1.
IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED that the AGREEMENT is amended as follows:
The Task Cost for Task Number 1 MRC Operations of the Scope of Work is hereby increased by $8,000.00 and
shall read, "Task Cost: $35,400.00"
The Task Cost for Task Number 2 Port Townsend Eelgrass No -anchor Zone -Phase 2 of the Scope of Work is
hereby decreased by $8,000.00 and shall read, "Task Cost: $16,252.50"

FURTHER, this amendment will be effective 08/26/2015.

Except as expressly provided by this amendment, all other terms and conditions of the original AGREEMENT and all
prior amendments thereto remain in full force and effect.

RE: Amendment to MRC Task distribution of funds
STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Amendment to redistribute funds from Task 2 (Eelgrass No -
Anchor Zones) to Task 1 (Administration).
ANALYSIS: The redistribution of funds between tasks will enable payment of services that
fall in Task 1 category whereas expenditures in Task 2 were less than anticipated.
FISCAL IMPACT: No impact, funds are available within the grant total funds/
RECOMMENDATION: Recommend transfer of funds from Task 2 to Taskl.

First page: the page is blank after "it is mutually agreed that the agreement is amended as follows:" While the
preamble makes your intent clear, the actual amendment is missing. There should be language to the effect of the
following:

shall read, "Task Cost: $35,400.00"
