The immediate damage was repaired and access restored in 2014. Subsequently, Public Works successfully obtained reimbursement from the County Road Administration Board for these repairs. Funding was also provided to make further improvements at this site, including guardrail, new paving, and drainage improvements which is the purpose of this project. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: Estimated cost is $176,000 of which State funds will cover 90 percent. This project is in the currently adopted Annual Road Construction Program (Item #3) and 6 -Year Transportation Improvement Program. Recommendation: Please sign the resolution enabling Public Works to initiate work on this project.
