Fill shall be sandy loam, extending a minimum of 5 feet beyond the trench wall on the uphill side, and 10 foot beyond the sides and bottom of the distribution area on the downhill side. Submit sample for approval prior to construction. 2. 4" perforated drain lines shall be laid level and parallel to the contours. 3. Drain rock shall be clean non -deteriorating stone, 1/2 - 2 inch range. 4. Minimum cover over transport line shall be 3 feet 5. Dose volume equals 60 gallons. The floats shall be adjusted in the field depending upon the pump chamber supplied. 6. Pump chamber components are from ORENCO Systems - Phone 503 673-0165. Pump shall be Starite S-50 effluent pump 1/2 HP, 115 volts. 7. Pump controls shall be mounted on the southwest corner of the shop and include: Audio -Visual Alarm, on a separate circuit, and a Hand Off automatic switch, similar or equal to ORENCO Simplex controls. 8. Construction shall occur only during the dry portion of the year. Contractor shall be careful to avoid smearing, and compacting the drainfield area. 9. Clearing and grubbing shall be the minimum required for installation of the drainfield. Care shall be taken to preserve all available soil depth. 10. Transport line shall be buried a minimum 3 feet deep, and bedded in sand. 11. A rainwater collection system is proposed for a water supply. The anticipated daily use will be 60 gallons, thus the dose volume shall be 60 gallons for one dose per day. 12. All fittings on polyethelene pipe shall be butt fused to the manufacturer's specifications - Driscohipe per Maskell Robbins phone no. i20(,) 775- BODO 13.
