( 4,q4. �1 AMENDMENT # 1 By and Between FORKS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE And JEFFERSON COUNTY For Hotel -Motel Funding 2016 This Amendment #1 is by and between JEFFERSON COUNTY (hereinafter known as "COUNTY" and the FORKS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (hereinafter known as "FCC"). WHEREAS, the COUNTY and the FCC entered into an Agreement on March 21, 2016 for Hotel -Motel Funding in 2016; and WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the terms of that Agreement; and WHEREAS, on March 18, 2016 the Jefferson County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) was advised that additional Lodging Tax revenue was projected to be available for appropriation in 2016 without reducing historic fund balances; and WHEREAS, the LTAC reviewed and recommended $4,300 in additional funding be awarded to the FCC to support greater delivery of services under the Agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED BETWEEN BOTH PARTIES AS NAMED HEREIN that the Agreement executed on March 21, 2016 is hereby amended as follows: 1. An additional amount of $4,300 will be paid in a lump sum to the FCC upon execution of this Amendment for the following services: • Visitor Center Seasonal Staff Member June 13 -September 11, 2016 - $4,300.00 2. The total 2016 Hotel -Motel amount will not exceed $31,375. 3. The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee recommended $64,182 be expended from the $80,000 excess lodging tax revenue. FISCAL IMPACT: Forks Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center: $4,300 A budget appropriation will be requested during the Pt Quarter Budget Extension process.
